So take others advice and go during non-busy hours I am sure you will get a much better experience. Then you see interesting characters throughout the casino, I will just leave it at that. As soon as I walked in with my girlfriend, I was nearly harassed by some guy shouting at us because they were drunk (even though they thought they were trying to be friendly, but it was just creepy). I was fine by this, as the Latin restaurant on the main floor featured an open dance floor after 10pmish as did the live DJ on the ground floor, which allowed you to almost forget you were in a casino (this to me was a plus over Live!) Just like other people state, however, after 9pmish, which is when this casino gets busy, strange people do appear. The restaurants, bars, live entertainment definitely take up more than a quarter (nearly half) of the casino. If you are a gambler or a slot machine user, you will notice the lack of overall tables/machines for the size of the casino, even with two floors.
Compared to Maryland Live!, the atmosphere is much brighter and not dark so it sort of lightens and heightens the experience. The garage elevators take you into the lobby of the casino, where you must split into two lines: one for people under 30ish and the other for those older than 30 so that you can get carded. The garage and entrance are definitely easy to access off of MD-295 or I-95 in either direction that you are coming from.
